Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrival at Delhi airport, and to the hotel Night halt at the hotel

Note: Check-in time at the hotel is 12 Noon. If you arrive early morning the accommodation will be required from previous night.

Day 02: Delhi

Day's tour of Old and New Delhi after breakfast. Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan switched the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi in 1650. Shah Jehan was excellent mainly in architecture, created the seventh city and in the process brought about Delhi's glorious renaissance. Here you can visit the Red Fort, Palace of the Mughal Empire.
 
Lahore Gate

The Lahore Gate faces Chandni Chowk, is filled with bazaars. Later on visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; Raj Ghat, the memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi; And Chandni Chowk, which was the commercial centre of Delhi. New Delhi was designed and built by the British in the 1920's, In 1911 King George V announced the transfer of the capital from Calcutta to Delhi. Lutyens and Baker - The King's architects, set in motion the Design and construction of Delhi's eighth city - New Delhi. It took two decades to complete this immense undertaking only to have the British relinquish the subcontinent in 1947.

Later you can see the well-known monuments from Delhi's past - Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar. You can also see Parliament House and local Bahai Temple.

Day 03: Delhi / Mandawa 05-06 Hrs
Drive to Mandawa after early breakfast. Later in the evening take a walk to see the beautiful Havelis. Night halt at the hotel.

Day 04: Mandawa / Bikaner & 05-06 Hrs
Drive to Bikaner after early breakfast. Here you can visit the Junagarh Fort, Lal Ghar Palace, and the Sun Gate. It houses the largest camel breading center in Asia. Night halt at the hotel.

Day 05: Bikaner / Jaisalmer 05-06 Hrs
Drive to Jaisalmer after breakfast. Jaisalmer is a fascinating city rising from the heart of the Thar Desert like a golden mirage. Evening is free is for individual pursuits. Night halt at the hotel.
 
Camel Safari Rajasthan

Day 06: Jaisalmer / Khuri 01 Hour
Proceed for sightseeing of Jaisalmer city in the morning after breakfast at the hotel. Here you can visit three beautifully sculptured Jain temples built between the 12th and 13th Centuries; five interconnected palaces, Nathmalji-Ki-Haveli and Patwaon ki Haveli. The fort is approached through four gateways - Akhaiya Pol, Ganesh Pol, Suraj Pol and Hawa Pol. At noon drive to Khuri and experience the beautiful sunset in the desert and camel ride.

Day 07: Jaisalmer {Khuri} / Jodhpur 06-07 Hrs
Leave Khuri and drive to Jodhpur Morning after breakfast. Jodhpur is called the "Blue City" for the characteristic plea indigo color of its traditional homes. Night halt at the hotel.

Day 08: Jodhpur
As the day begins, visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, built atop a 400 ft. promontory. Visit the Jaswant Thada, below the fort, a graceful marble cenotaph built 1899 for Mahrajaha Jaswant Singh II. After midday meal visit Bishnoi Village. Evening free for individual pursuits. Night halt at the hotel.

Day 09: Jodhpur / Pushkar 04-05 Hrs.
Drive to Pushkar, in the Morning after breakfast at the hotel. At noon you can go visiting the famous Lord Brahma Temple and the holy Pushkar Lake. Evening is free for individual pursuits. Night halt at the hotel.

Day 10: Pushkar / Jaipur 03-04 Hrs.

Morning is completely free for sightseeing around Pushkar and in Pushkar. Leave for Jaipur, on arrival at Jaipur, check in at the hotel. Evening free for individual pursuits. Night halt at the hotel.

Day 11: Jaipur
As the day starts visit the Amber Fort in the Aravali Hills, which is a super example of Rajput style architecture. You reach the Fort with a slow elephant ride. At noon visit the City Palace, the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar. Night halt at the hotel.
 
Hawa Mahal Jaipur

Day 12: Jaipur / Agra 05-06 Hrs.
Drive to Agra after early breakfast at the hotel. Enroute you can visit Fatehpur Sikri - built by Emperor Akbar and it was the capital of the Mughal Empire for around a decade. Upon arrival in Agra, check in at the hotel and the remaining day is free. Night halt at the hotel.

Note: Mahal is closed on every Friday.

Day 13: Agra / Varanasi
Overnight Train Visit the Taj Mahal, at the time of sunrise {recommendable}. The Taj Mahal, built by an emperor in memory of his beloved queen. The making of the Taj Mahal began in 1631, and is believed to have taken 18 years to complete, with over 20,000 craftsmen working. Ustad Ahamad Lahori - legendary architect, was behind its making. Legend has it that once construction was completed, Shah Jehan had Lahori's hands cut off, and blinded, so he would never be able to duplicate the structure. Taj Mahal has perfect proportions, distinct femininity, medium of construction and ornamentation

Later return back to hotel for late breakfast and carry on for sightseeing of Agra city, Idmad-Ud-Dola, while in the city, witness the local life and bazaars. Leave for, Agra Fort railway station to take train to Varanasi, after early dinner.

Day 14: Arrive Varanasi
Reach Varanasi railway station in the early morning. Varanasi is the religious centre of Hindu religion. Situated on the banks of the holy river Ganges. Every year hundreds of thousands of pilgrims make a long journey to this vibrant city where you can find the richest of the rich living side by side with the poorest of the poor.

At Varanasi you can witness what faith can do to people and what their devotion to god leads them to achieve. It has no less than 2000 temples and shrines. The sacred left bank of the river has Domes, minarets, pinnacles and towers. Varanasi vibrates with cosmic forces beyond comprehension.

At noon, leave for an half day excursion to Sarnath. It is around 10 kms from the city centre. It was here that Buddha revealed his doctrine and founded his monastic community. The museum at Sarnath is amongst the most important in India and contains carvings representing a whole range of styles such as: Medieval, Gupta, and the Mathura School. You can see here is the Asoka Pillar - the symbol of the Indian republic. Night halt at the hotel.

Day 15: Varanasi / Delhi
Flight As the day begins, leave your hotel around 5:30 am for an early morning sunrise boat excursion on the holy River Ganges. Early this morning witness Varanasi come alive along the banks of the river. It is believed if you die in Varanasi you go straight to heaven.
 
Sarnath Temple Varanasi

Return to your hotel for breakfast. While touring Varanasi, drive through the Banaras Hindu University with a visit to the Bharat Mata (Mother India) Temple, some of the holy temples of the city and the magnificent Durga Temple or the monkey temple. Visit some of the silk brocade and weaving centers - a specialty of Varanasi - if time permits. At noon, check out from the hotel head towards Varanasi airport to take Air Sahara flight to Delhi at 1720 Hrs. Arrival Delhi at 2000 Hrs. Leave for Delhi airport after breakfast. Take your flight for further travel.
