In the morning, take your breakfast and set out for Mathura, which is the holy birthplace of the most revered Hindu God – Lord Krishna, whom the city is associated with. Lord Krishna is imagined to have grown up in the surroundings ‘Braj Bhoomi’. In the afternoon, pay a visit to Vrindavan to take Darshan of Govind Dev Temple, Rangaji Temple – the longest temple of Vrindavan built in 1851 with a 50 feet tall ‘Dhwaja Stambha’ believed to be made of gold plates. Ahead, visit the Madan Mohan Temple, located near Kali Ghat, the Bankey Bihari Temple – one of the most ancient temples constructed in 1921 and Glass Temple.
After taking your lunch, get started driving to Gokul, where Nand Gopal was brought up in the home of Yashoda Maiya in secrecy to escape the anger of tyrant Kansha. Next, visit Gokul Nath Ji Temple in Govardhan, where Lord Krishna held aloft ‘Giriraj’, the hill of sandstone on his finger for seven days and nights dauntlessly to save the people of Braj from the anger of thunder and rain made by Indra, ‘the God of Rain’. Get back to Mathura and after driving to Delhi, get transferred to Delhi Airport to take your flight for onward journey.
